De 14 a 18 de novembro decorreu, na ESEPF e na cidade do Porto, a Semana Internacional da Educação Social promovida pelo Departamento de Educação Social em parceria com a Universidade de Avans da Holanda. A Semana Internacional teve como objetivo a criação de um momento de partilha e troca de ideias e projetos, promovendo uma reflexão conjunta sobre as boas práticas do trabalho social e, concretamente, do trabalho socioeducativo desenvolvidas junto de diversas instituições. Este ano, a Semana Internacional dedicou-se às boas práticas de intervenção socioeducativa com Crianças e Jovens em Risco, a partir de visitas a 4 instituições distintas e de uma aula leccionada pelo prof. Fred Bon, subordinada ao “Empreendedorismo Social”. Participaram deste intercâmbio 15 estudantes holandeses e um docente.
O grupo visitou quatro instituições distintas, onde foi possível refletir com as equipas e utentes o trabalho das instituições: Instituto Profissional do Terço, Projeto Catapulta (Programa Escolhas), lar de Infância e Juventude Coração d’Ouro (Lar especializado no acolhimento terapêutico a estudantes) e Centro Educativo de Santo António (Ministério da Justiça).
On the week of the 14th to 18th November ESEPF hosted the International week of Social Education, in Porto, on a joint event with Avans University from the Netherlands. The International week main goal was to create a moment for sharing and discussing ideas and projects through a discussion on good practices in social work, particularly, on socio-educational work developed by different institutions. This year the International week focused on good practices of socio-educational intervention with children and young people at risk, by visiting 4 institutions and having a lecture on “Social Entrepeneurship” by Prof. Fred Bon. 15 students and 1 teacher participated in this exchange.
The group visited 4 institutions where they met with technical staff and clients: Instituto Profissional do Terço, Projeto Catapulta (Programa Escolhas), Lar de Infância e Juventude Coração d’Ouro (specialized foster care home residence for young girls using therapeutical models) and Educational Centre of Santo Antonio Centro Educativo de Santo António (Ministery of Justice – Juvenil Justice).
