Partindo do conhecimento cient\u00edfico atual no dom\u00ednio das Dificuldades Espec\u00edficas de Aprendizagem (DEA), pressupondo que na g\u00e9nese das mesmas existem disfun\u00e7\u00f5es neurol\u00f3gicas, o Projeto: i) disponibiliza forma\u00e7\u00e3o para professores e outros t\u00e9cnicos; ii) prepara para a avalia\u00e7\u00e3o compreensiva dos alunos; iii) e d\u00e1 a conhecer as estrat\u00e9gias espec\u00edficas, a serem usadas o mais precocemente poss\u00edvel, na interven\u00e7\u00e3o com crian\u00e7as e adolescentes com tais perturba\u00e7\u00f5es; Para esse efeito, diferentes institui\u00e7\u00f5es socioeducativas desenham projetos de vida com os jovens, articulando essas dimens\u00f5es a partir de modelos de interven\u00e7\u00e3o espec\u00edficos que pretendem garantir que, \u00e0 sa\u00edda do sistema de prote\u00e7\u00e3o, os jovens sejam capazes de viver de modo aut\u00f3nomo a partir de um projeto coerente. Assim, torna-se fundamental compreender o modo como esses processos se organizam, as suas insufici\u00eancias e potencialidades e os modos como os jovens participam na defini\u00e7\u00e3o do seu pr\u00f3prio projeto de vida. O objetivo da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o centrou-se na identifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos fatores \/ marcadores explicativos do sucesso escolar, com a \u00eanfase no sucesso dos alunos com baixo rendimento escolar (dificuldades de aprendizagem). As Escolas que participaram na investiga\u00e7\u00e3o foram selecionadas segundo crit\u00e9rios geogr\u00e1ficos (\u00e2mbito nacional: Escolas: 2 Norte, 1 Centro, 2 Lisboa, 2 Alentejo, 1 Algarve) e que tivessem tempos diferentes de implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de Projeto F\u00e9nix (1 Escola = 6 anos | 3 Escolas = 5 anos | 3 Escolas = 2 anos | 1 Escola = 1 ano). O diagn\u00f3stico preliminar realizado e o conjunto de documentos cedidos e referenciados pelo CLDS de Vila do Conde, nomeadamente, o Plano de Desenvolvimento Social da Rede Social de Vila do Conde, o Diagn\u00f3stico de Freguesias do CLDS e o Projeto Educativo do Agrupamento de Escolas da Junqueira, apontaram para a necessidade de interven\u00e7\u00e3o especialmente junto das fam\u00edlias ausentes da escola. O \u00e2mbito de interven\u00e7\u00e3o passou por qualificar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o Escola-Fam\u00edlia (e, a um n\u00edvel mais global, Escola-Fam\u00edlia-Comunidade) com vista a potenciar o sucesso destas fam\u00edlias, trabalhando as compet\u00eancias do agregado em diferentes n\u00edveis\/\u00e1reas de interven\u00e7\u00e3o.
