26 Mar 3ª edição do BIP (Blended Intensive Program) organizado pelo Departamento de Educação Social e Global da ESEPF (Escola Superior de Educação de Paula Frassinetti) -Porto, Portugal
Este ano o tema do BIP-Porto 2026 é Sustainable Development Goals and Different Contexts in Social Intervention. As atividades presenciais decorrem na ESEPF e nas instituições colaboradoras (Hospital Conde Ferreira, Casa de Vila Nova, Centro Juvenil de Campanhã, Aldeia SOS e Centro Educativo de Santo António) entre os dias 24 e 28 de março de 2026.
Participam 43 estudantes e 8 professores das instituições parceiras: Avans Hogeschool -Breda, Países Baixos; University of Applied Sciences and Arts -Antuérpia, Bélgica; Laurea university of applied sciences, Vantaa, Finlândia e a organizadora Escola Superior de Educação de Paula Frassinetti, Porto, Portugal.
Serão realizados workshops temáticos e discussões orientadas, assim como visitas acompanhadas e explicações com técnicos especializados nas instituições. O trabalho criativo e colaborativo, orientado pelos professores participantes, verter-se-á numa série de posters e apresentações resultantes da pesquisa realizada pelos grupos de estudantes internacionais. Pelo meio haverá momentos de criatividade, convívio e aprendizagem informal. No dia 28 de março, e antes do momento de reflexão final, realizar-se-á um momento de imersão crítica nos problemas profundos da realidade social através de uma visita de estudo às zonas mais deprimidas e escondidas, caraterizadas pela pobreza, na cidade do Porto…
Estamos convictos que tod@s @s participantes sairão deste BIP muito mais ricos e terão aprendido “em contextos” a refletir sobre a necessidade de construir um “desenvolvimento sustentável” para um mundo melhor e menos desigual.

3rd edition of the BIP (Blended Intensive Program) organized by the Department of Social and Global Education of ESEPF (Paula Frassinetti School of Education) – Porto, Portugal
This year, the theme of BIP-Porto 2026 is Sustainable Development Goals and Different Contexts in Social Intervention. The in‑person activities will take place at ESEPF and at the collaborating institutions (Hospital Conde Ferreira, Casa de Vila Nova, Centro Juvenil de Campanhã, Aldeia SOS, and Centro Educativo de Santo António) between March 24 and 28, 2026.
A total of 43 students and 8 lecturers from partner institutions will participate: Avans Hogeschool – Breda, Netherlands; University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Antwerp, Belgium; Laurea University of Applied Sciences – Vantaa, Finland; and the organizing institution, Paula Frassinetti School of Education, Porto, Portugal.
The program will include thematic workshops and guided discussions, as well as accompanied visits and briefings with specialized professionals at the institutions. The creative and collaborative work, guided by the participating lecturers, will result in a series of posters and presentations based on the research carried out by the international student groups. Along the way, there will be moments of creativity, social interaction, and informal learning.
On March 28, before the final reflection session, participants will engage in a moment of critical immersion into the deep social issues of the region through a study visit to some of the most deprived and hidden areas of the city of Porto, marked by poverty…
We are confident that all participants will leave this BIP enriched and having learned in context to reflect on the need to build sustainable development for a better and less unequal world.
